❝ TO BE HONEST , SO DID I . ❞ sebastian abandons his concerned lean over sherlock’s momentarily LIFELESS figure and instead sits back on his heels , hands on his knees and eyes wide with concern . he rubs the back of his neck as the detective sits up a bit . ❝ you were out for . . . nearly a minute there . and i didn’t even do that to you . ❞ sure , the antagonistic banter between holmes and moran always ends in disaster , but NOTHING LIKE THIS . of course sebastian would prefer the great detective stay the hell out of his business , but he doesn’t want him dead . not enough stake in the game for that level of anger . ❝ are you breathing all right ? how does your head feel ? ❞ the adrenaline within him starts to dissipate , but his hands are still clammy .
