hello my dear, what was a moment that felt magical to you?

hi my lovely! so when I was 21 I lived in Germany for a short time and stayed with a host family, which included several small children. one day we went to this really picturesque small town for their grandfather's birthday. I was very tired that day, so I went to lay down on the green grass in their grandparent's front yard that was on a hill and looked over the whole town. when I awoke, I blinked slowly into wakefulness to find that there were several children standing over me, placing small flowers they had picked beside my head.

I've always thought that moment felt like a movie. there was magic in it.

A bee flew in my shirt and stung me when I was in grade one. I ran sobbing all the way to the secretary's office. A teacher tried to stop me from running in the hall, and all I could do was scream 😭😭😭I GOT STUNG BY A BEE😭😭😭 while speeding past her.

I lived in Vancouver for 5 years in my 20s and 4 years of that was spent sleeping on a double mattress on the floor.

I have four Hunger Games book box sets.

When I was a kid I was really into the Goosebumps series and KFC would give you a free book when you bought a bucket of chicken, so I spent 6 months trying to get my mom to buy chicken every weekend.

I am chronically early to everything.

My friend Memphis called me Kaaaaaaarf once as a play on my real name. I don't remember the context of the conversation as it was many moons ago, but I believe it was in the style of Llamas with Hats. When I joined this fandom, I needed a new user name as my last one had my irl name in it and this was the first thing I thought of....it did not occur to me at the time that I would have a semi-popular blog and people would have to remember how many a's are in my user name bahaha. Sorry everyone.

Sometimes I'm like yeah, I had a relatively normal childhood and then I remember that I used to make life size paper dolls and pretend they were my friends. 🙃
