i just wanted to say how much i appreciate you and this fic. i know this isnt technically the last part, but i just wanted to get this off my chest now before we finally close this off for good. letters to you helped remind me of a time when writing whatever to no one healed me. it’s good to remember that sometimes even if things don’t go the way you want them, it might just be for the best. life is all about learning to be brave enough to let go. thank you. i’ll wait for the next one ❤️

i’ve thought about how to sound this out for a while, but i’ve been writing love letters to my best friend (who i crushed on) for some years that i never gave him. i think that’s why johnny’s letters really resonated with me. the only difference is johnny actually gave his letters, and i never gave mine. my best friend and i parted ways a long time ago, and writing letters to him helped heal me. so i just wanted to thank you for writing johnny’s letters, i get my closure by proxy haha. ❤️
