The best Yuri on Ice fics of my day.
Post Episode 10
1. Once, Twice, Forever
Victor Nikiforov never really thought he would fall in love at all. It was, he thought, a luxury he simply would not be afforded, one of the many things he had to give up for skating—parents, friends, a life, love. He is, of course, wrong. Not only does he fall in love, he falls in love twice. With the same person. Sometimes life is funny like that.
2. Writing Into Motion
Victor was a very decisive person, usually. He knew what he wanted and what he liked, and he took it. He likes wine, likes parties, and he loves the way Katsuki Yuuri bites his lip when their eyes meet across the dance floor.
3. Look & See (Undeniably Surprising)
This year, Victor Nikiforov falls in love at the Grand Prix Banquet. He’s so glad he decided to show up.
4. love at second sight
He looks at Victor as if he somehow believes Victor would have come all the way here if he wasn’t desperately, stupidly in love with a drunk almost-stranger.
5. i think i may have loved you first
Here are the facts: Yuuri is drunk. Viktor is not. Yuuri is riding an alcohol-induced high so far up above the clouds he cannot even begin to comprehend the weight of his actions back in the human realm. Viktor is falling in love.
6. the clavicle-snapped wish
The sun glints off their twin gold bands, the band strikes up their first dance, and together, they follow each other into the rest of their lives.
What is there left to say about Episode 10? I died, and then I came back to life, and then I died again. Yesterday, immediately after watching the episode (twice) I returned to Crunchyroll to stream the rest of the series (again) and then I rewatched Episode 10 (for the third time). Please support the series as much as possible—however you can—so that we get more seasons!
