Hip Hop in East Asia (Conclusion) [Black in China S3 E9]
New series (maybe) of me just wandering and not filming anything in particular. But the music will be great
Things Kwame Should but Can’t Care About
So I read an article about things this person doesn’t care about (he tried, but couldn’t) and other people seem to be so passionate about them. So I’ve decided to enlighten the world on shit everyone is worried about that I couldn’t give 1 single fuck about:
1. Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Black-ish, Empire, ** insert any fucking television show that is trending right now ** My favorite TV show is Archer. Once I watch the new one, I don’t wanna talk about it
2. Grits-gate. How you choose to eat your food is inconsequential to me.
3. Other Black folks Knowledge of Self.
3.1 What other groups think about Black people.
3.2 Old Black people’s opinions on my or any following generations
4. Bill Cosby. If he’s convicted, oh well. I’ll still watch re-runs of A Different World unapologetically
5. Pintrest
6. Instagram models & how they make other women feel
7. Ayesha Curry
7.1 Riley Curry
7.2 Stephen Curry
7.3 Drake
7.4 Key & Peele. They are not funny
7.5 Jermaine Cole
7.6 Any light skinned Celebrity
8. Reebok
9. Pedestrians. walk where I’m driving if you want to
10. Speed limits. Why can my car get up to 100+MPH if I’m only “supposed” to drive 60MPH?
11. People’s opinions on my “art.”
12. Politics. I reside in the United States. Politicians don’t care about me
13. iPhones. I proudly have a dual-sim phone that I know how to use.
14. Passport Stamps. Just because I desire to see the world, doesn’t mean I care about flaunting a document that’s only good in 10 year increments
15. Masters degrees. If college is a mall, then they are the free samples of bourbon chicken in the mall. They won’t fill you up and it doesn’t prove anything (Says a ninja with one FTR)
16. If a woman makes more than me. Pay people commensurate to their personal level of awesomeness
17. Facebook. I use it so because I make internet content
18. People asking me for money on the street. Am I heartless? Probably. Could that easily be one day. Probably. But they should panhandle on Capitol Hill in my opinion. I’m first world broke
19. fashion. If It’s clean & I like it, let me live mofos
20. whether my students learn. I used to hope they do. I really want them to know how to think critically. But in earnest, by the time they get college, if they don’t already posses certain faculties, welp oh fucking well.
21. Your opinion of the list

Wale Vlogs came by to chat with the Black in China crew
So I have returned to the People's Republic of China. Why? Numerous reasons. First because my job as the study abroad coordinator at the oldest HBCU in Maryland is paying me to be here until October 9th. Secondly because my Kickstarter campaign was relatively successful (another story for another day). Which means I'll be filming "Black in China 黑人 在 中国" the series season two as well. My Groove brother will be joining me September 16th to help film. So I'm here in the Nangang district of Harbin (Haerbin/Ha'erbin) city, Heilongjiang province which is exactly opposite of my first stint in the PRC. So far everything is cool I guess. My first day was exhausting but I'll continue to inconsistently update you on my travels. Oh an these photos are from a poster to enlighten my students on the risks of drugs so...there's that... Enjoy
After the success of of Black in China 黑人在中国 season 1, people requested that I make another 黑人在中国. Let's make this season great!
Production (filming) for "Black in China 黑人 在 中国, the series" season 2 will commence this September. Currently I am crowdsourcing for funding on KickStarter. Next season will be longer, feature more topics, and be an even better produced resource for Black Westerners who desire to take the steps of living abroad. Please support!!!
