and then gets pissed off at you

he's the type to care about you in the most roundabout way possible way because he has a ✨reputation✨

lots of insults and lectures but he's also incredibly proud of you for being so selfless but he doesn't really know how to express it

The last thing you remember are his crimson eyes and his worried yells before you blacked out. When you woke up again you were in a hospital room with a dull throb of pain in your left shoulder. The doctor in the room looks at you and sighs in relief, the action making you raise your eyebrows a bit.

"Ah sorry, I would rather speak to you directly about your condition rather than... Ground Zero.. he's a bit scary..." you giggled softly in response before encouraging the doctor to continue.

"Right so the damage done can be healed but it will take some time and a lot of physiotherapy. Recovery Girl has dramatically decreased the amount of pain you're in right now but the effects will wear off eventually...we expect you to be out of hero work for about 3 months but it could be reduced to two if you take the painkillers and rest a lot as advised..."

As he carried on talking about your condition you zoned out a bit. No hero work for 2 months at least? What were you supposed to do? just sit at home all day? The more you thought about it the less appealing it seemed and the more you felt the gravity of the situation sink in. It was too long and you knew it, and felt the pain in your shoulder increase a bit as if on cue.

You were broken out of your reverie by the door to your room slamming open. The doctor's face visibly paled, muttering something about giving you alone time before scurrying past the panting blonde in the doorway.

"Katsuki..." you start weakly, sensing an outburst from him already.

"Oh my god [Y/N], you're so duMB what were you thinking going after that dick yourself" he shuts slams the door shut before making his way over to you "It could've been so much worse and I was right there you should've fucking waited I was-I-I was a couple of seconds too late.." He more or less collapses, his knees hitting the ground and his head on the white sheets of your bed, shaking. 

"Katsuki, none of this was your fault okay? I went after him myself, It's my fault" you take his trembling hands in your right hand, bringing his hand up to your lips before kissing it softly. "Please don't blame yourself" You say softly, eyes becoming wet at you take in your boyfriend's broken state. You shuffle to the side of the bed before tugging at Bakugou's hand, prompting him to get onto the bed with you. He complies easily, getting on the bed with a gentleness you know is reserved for you only.

You lay his head on your uninjured shoulder and let him hide his face there as you stroke his head.

"It'll take a couple of months but I will heal okay? the doctor mentioned some painkillers but they're kinda strong so I trust you'll be there to help me when I'm all woozy because of them yeah?" you giggle softly when he nods his head a little. 

You feel an overwhelming amount of love for the normally hotheaded boy clinging onto you, so you press kisses and whisper soft words of affirmation into his hair, practically feeling the tension leave his body.

bonus: he ends up falling asleep not long after that, much to all the doctors relief and Kirishima's amusement, who came to check up on you.

getting into the relationship in the first place was a struggle because you didn't notice how soft shinsou was towards you. I can imagine him with his head on your lap one day and he just blurts it out

"I really like you...[Y/N]..I've liked you for a while now"

he loVEs cuddling, but you hadn't really cuddled anyone before. he'd sneak into your room one night just to listen to you talk but he'd keep inching a bit closer to you. lets be honest you wouldn't even realise how close he was to you until he moves you onto his lap

he'd wrap your arms around his middle and he'd do the same to you and then nod at you to carry on talking

when he doesn't want to seem too needy he'll pretend to fall asleep with his head on your lap because you tend to give him forehead kisses and play with his hair

your first kiss with him would probably be in that same cuddling position. he leaves small kisses all around your face first until the only place he hasn't kissed yet are your lips. It'd be soft and short because baby would know that you weren't expecting it and wouldn't want to overwhelm you.

bonus: you'd definitely be oblivious to people flirting with you and when someone at the festival starts getting a bit too friendly with you, expect shinsou to slide an arm around your waist from behind and glare at the person until they take the hint. He wants to be mad at you but can't because of how happy you are at the amount of new friends your making

Can I request a Bakugou scenario where he sees his crush all dressed up to go out for the day, only to come back like an hour later completely sad. They had gotten a cofession letter the day before, turns out it wasn't for them, it just ended up in he wrong desk/locker. Maybe the guy laughed at them or was mean to them about it, like "who would confess to you?" They thought it would have been a nice first since they thought Bakugou was out of their league or something

he was literally kicking himself when he saw you giggling and smiling at the girls complimenting you before you went out that day

baby thought you looked so so pretty and was silently raging because you should be going on a date with him dammit!!!

that being said though he inhabited your room and answered all your questions 

'hey Bakugou, this top orrrr this one?' "ew neither, move out the way dumbass, let me fucking pick for you"

once you left looking like an angel he went to his room and sulked until he heard the door open an hour or so later

Honestly, you felt like shit-and that was an understatement. When you got the cute cafe and met the guy, he wasn't as happy to see you as you expected. His lips curled into a smile but it was anything but friendly. His half-hearted apology made you feel worse but you smiled and politely bowed before walking out, away from his patronising chuckles. It took everything in you to not cry whilst you fast walked back to the dorms, your hands balled into fists but still trembling. 

You take a second to calm your breathing and your mind before entering the dorms again.

"[y/n]!! You're back early!" Uraraka greeted you excitedly.

"How was it?! a second date maybe?" Mina asked, slinging an arm around your shoulders. The affection makes your heart twinge with a slight pain. You laugh slightly, but it sounds strained and forced

"The note wasn't for me... It was a mistake but it's okay! I think I'll just head to bed guys" You softly remove Mina's arm and smile at them both reassuringly, nearly cracking when you catch sight of their worried expressions.

Trying to hold it together, you fail to notice the blonde-haired boy before you bump into him. You try to apologise and smile at him but the look in his eyes silences you.

"It was a what?" he asks, his voice quiet and eerily controlled.

"Bakugou it's okay reall-" You're cut off by him grabbing onto your arm and leading you to your room.

"Change. Hurry up, I'm waiting."

The tone of his voice pushes you to act as he leans against the wall outside your room. You shut the door behind you, your bag dropping to the floor. This isn't what you needed right now. Of course you couldn't be angry at Bakugou but he's the whole reason you even decided to go. You had to get over him somehow because there's no way your feelings would be reciprocated... Hearing him softly drum his hands against the wall breaks you out of your thoughts, quickly getting changed and removing your makeup before opening the door again.

In a couple of seconds you're in Bakugou's dimly lit room, seated on his bed.

You open your mouth to talk but find that nothing comes out. The feelings of humiliation and rejection, the thoughts of never being good enough, they cloud your mind making you choke and curl in on yourself. You barely acknowledge the strong arms snaking around you, until you're crying quietly into his chest.

Your sobs slowly reduce to small hiccups every now and again. You feel Bakugou's hand rubbing your back with a gentleness you didn't even know he possessed.

"Are you feeling better yet?" he mumbles into your hair. You're practically seated on his lap, his blanket placed around your shoulders.

"yeah... I'm sorry... you had to deal with me in this state. I must have made a mess of your shirt too, I'll wash it for you-"

You're cut off by a flick to your forehead.

"Dumbass... You seriously think I care about my shirt when I have a pretty girl crying on my lap. That fucker wouldn't have deserved you even if it wasn't a mistake and I swear if I find out he said any bullshit to you I'll-"

"pretty..." you inquired in disbelief. You're forced to look up by his calloused fingertips at your chin.

"Yes pretty [y/n]." he practically growls, "You're so fucking pretty and don't you dare think anything different. You looked so fucking stunning today my heart felt like it was gonna beat out of my fucking chest." Despite his passionate words, the way he cups your face is gentle. You have no choice but to look into his crimson eyes. Your eyes widen at the sincerity his face shows.

It's almost comical how fast the blush rushes to his cheeks when he realises the weight of his words, his eyes avert to the floor, and his hands tense up around your face.

Your mind races with millions of possibilities but after a couple of seconds the only conclusion you've come up with is the single thought you had condemned yourself from having. Bakugou Katsuki liked you back.

when you first open up to him about the anxiety you feel he spends all night researching to see what could typically calm you down.

omg he definitely writes down everything he finds out and makes you act out little scenarios with him so you can practice talking to people with a clearer mind

definitely tries to distract you when you get anxious like soft kisses all over your face or just holding you and stroking your hair until you calm down omg

tries to make you laugh!! if you've had to interact with people all day and your social battery is well and truly drained he'll be all goofy and sweet when you two are finally alone in your room 🥺🥺

the second he saw you regret telling that joke, he made a joke straight after so that the attention would be all on him lmao he knows that you get uneasy and worried about offending people so he makes sure his jokes are actually lowkey offensive so you don't feel as bad💀💀

when you're talking to new people he makes sure he's by your side or at least in his sight

despite him being loud as fucK, I feel like Bokuto would also be the sort of bf to care about you in ways that no one would notice except for you 

I'm talking about casually loudly shifting the conversation to himself when he notices you fiddling with your jacket or subtly taking your hand into his to offer support

he is aLL about affection and PDA so he tries to have some sort of contact with you at all times just to show you that he's there 🥺🥺

when it's just you two, he'd give you time to rant about all the things worrying you which means the worLd to you bc when is Bokuto ever that quiet

I also feel like Akaashi can get quite anxious sometimes so Bokuto knows how to handle you quite well and will make sure you never feel like a burden 🥺

He knows how your insecurities get the better of you sometimes, clouding your judgement and plaguing your mind, to the point where all you feel is utter emptiness and helplessness. But he prides himself on being there for you and being able to pull you out of those intrusive thoughts and into his arms every time. When you come round again and look at him, he's already looking at you, soft concern in his eyes. He slowly moves in to kiss your nose and cheeks before resting his forehead against yours, closing his eyes. You feel a surge of emotion for the quiet looking boy in your arms. His collected demeanor always helped to calm you down and you'd forever be thankful to him. "I..." you begin to whisper "I love you Kenma" you say softly, running your fingers through his hair. The house was empty apart from you two but you were in your own quiet bubble. You didn't want it to pop for as long as possible.
