Assistir O Agente Secreto numa estreia, no Cinema São Luiz, com as referências que o filme guardou ali dentro... É uma experiência cinematográfica que jamais será batida, em nenhum cinema "local, regional, muito menos internacional".
O sentimento que, acho, tantos recifenses da minha idade cresceram ouvindo falar sobre como era o cinema, a cidade, a pulsação do Recife de anos atrás, é o que Kleber Mendonça Filho nos entregou em O Agente Secreto - independente se este será o filme a concorrer ao oscar; ou o filme a bater o seu anterior - Bacurau, ou algo do tipo.
Dentro do filme, carnaval, Recife pulsando e a violência familiar. Do lado de fora, protesto com bloco de Carnaval, Recife pulsando e a mesma violência familiar.
Que honra de assistir esse filme num dos cinemas mais históricos do país.
Antes do filme, Palatsi, cafeteria próxima ao São Luiz. Me impressionei com a proximidade - que eu já sabia, mas nunca havia tentado - do São Luiz de meu trabalho. Me deu ideias de saída de expediente.
