I helped a little with @kmodoposts Abstracted Ribbit Song: Silly You! The ribbit drawing and some of the art for the kaleidoscope scene at the end specifically but the song is a bop; GO GIVE IT SOME LOVE!

oh man. so i found an old recording of me singing you will believe by @kmodoposts and it reminded me of this animatic i started to make of it.
it was gonna be an animatic of the full song, which i started brainstorming shortly after the song came out in july 2017 (though i only started working on the art in march 2018)
this is all i finished at the time, and unfortunately it’ll probably never be finished since i’m not very invested in batim anymore, and i have other animation projects i’d rather work on :(
i still love the song though!
(You might have been asked this at some point, sorry if so!) It's been One of Those Days™ and your guys sit down at the end of it to put their feet up and watch an ultimate comfort film - what's the go-to?
oh that's a real good one!! it's tough cause Buck doesn't really like, Watch movies in an active way like that (he'll put on whatever as background noise and will usually end up watching whatever Minnie/Davey put on, but I don't know if he actively picks out "favorites" like that, y'know?), and I think Minnie's very much in the phase where a lot of the media she watches, she picks to feel edgy and grown up. I think Davey's got a soft spot for old cheesy, so-bad-it's-good B-movies in general, and especially when he's had One Of Those Days, and that probably serves everyone well enough - I imagine something like the old Street Fighter movie would be a go-to, especially since Davey tends to turn to Street Fighter in general when he needs a pick-me-up or is feeling A Certain Way.
I gots a question: What kind of music does Davey vibe to? If any! I'd be curious about the others too, unless they all enjoy the same ruckus!
Davey's musical taste is a bit all-over the place! but in general he likes things with a high energy to 'em - I'm bad at naming/narrowing down musical genres but here's a few songs that got Davey vibes to me! (the "LEMME HEAR YOU SAY YO!" section in the last one specifically was actually my first big "oh THAT'S what Davey sounds like" moment!) by contrast, Buck's more of a low-key jazz guy (and secretly, Sappy Pining Pop Ballads), while Minnie's more into alt-pop-punk and nu-metal type stuff (ie. FoB, LP, the Seepage tracks from Hypnospace would be right up her alley - I think she probably likes the music Davey introduces her to more than she lets on, though)
My brain is stuck on classic PC games tonight: Did you ever play any of the old Tycoon games? (Zoo/Rollercoaster/Lemonade, etc.) They weren't the most thrilling, but when you didn't follow the rules and did your own thing, the possibilities were hilariously endless.
I never did!! i mostly had a bunch of miscellaneous edutainment PC games as a youngin, and then when I got into "proper" PC gaming it was like. the sims, and then portal. the amount of wild stuff you could do in those games always fascinates me, though
Which program are you using for the pixel art? They look fantastic!
paint tool sai! i use it for all my art and TY!!!!!!
