And for some reason Enerjak's first goal now that he isn't dead anymore is to make a big spooky city filled with robots. For some reason. What's his goal again? World domination, right? So why does he need to build an evil version of Echidnapolis to do that, why can't he just go blow shit up with his Chaos Emerald powers

You know, I just realized. Knuckles is in Sandopolis Zone right now. But you can't see Angel Island's mountains in the distance from any angle, even though Angel Island really doesn't seem like that huge of a place. Like it doesn't look like it can be more than a mile or two across when you look at the whole thing

Actually, now that I think about it, where'd all those mountains come from? According to the comics' lore, Angel Island was originally just the land occupied by Echidnapolis, and it's only been, what, a few thousand years? How did those huge mountains we normally see grow out of the ruins of Echidnapolis in that amount of time? And where did most of those ruins go?
