Westerners will really just make put of date claims and act like its reality when it hasnt been the case for years now.

Like yes there was a time where the prc did censor mentions of the kmt and didnt bother to remeber battles of the second sino Japanese war like the battle of hengyang, but that literally isnt the case anymore.

The prc does acknowledge the kmts resistence against japanese invasion and aside from the actual memorials and museums there are tons of tvshow and movies about the second sino Japanese war where the protagonists and good guys are the kmt.
