I wanted to write WebLena fic because writing is my only presentable form of creative and emotional output but then I read Stand By Me and realised I would never write anything as good or perfect or familiar to my experience as a gay girl as it and became demoralised, so I hope you're happy with creating something so wonderful you jerk.

Aside from the strange and uncomfortable memories this brought back of being told point blank by my peers in high school and college that I “suck” and they “hate(d)” me for being the top achiever in most of my art classes, this was a nice message to receive, I think.

2017 made sure we wouldn’t forget it, huh? I didn’t... Wait a minute.

Strangely enough this year really did play out for me the same way as the previous one-- A job lasting for a year and scoring a new one at the end of it, a bit (but not enough) of progress on making games, losing/gaining friends... The only thing that’s different is my age and mindset, honestly; I guess that’s enough to take it as an alright year for me.

Turning more and more into a self-sustaining adult hasn’t been the easiest, but I’m getting there. As long as I can keep in mind I don’t compare my progression too much to others, I’ll be living on my own in no time. I’ve got the car, the drive and the inspiration to keep at it thanks to many of you guys. Even if you don’t know it, you helped!

There’s not much else to discuss since 2017 felt so similar -aside from the memes, good lord were they special this time around- to 2016, so let me wrap this up by wishing anyone following me, supporting me, befriending me... To a great and prosperous 2018. Best of luck to all of us.
