Sketch dump! Haven't been drawing much as of late. The plan was to fill my current sketchbook by the end of February...that didn't happen. I believe I still have 40 pages to go. Oh well. I'm getting along with the character sketches for Interstice. Finally got Memphis down...now for a few dozen others, lol. Sigh.
Evolution of Lila Montgomery. I first started drawing Lila back in 2009 but have only felt I was ready to tell her story more recently. Hopefully I can follow through with it.
Deep breath.
Workin' on comics! Fished the design for my main character, Lila. Also threw down a few rough designs for Memphis. Trying to decide if he needs a hat.
Sketchdump. Still getting in a page of sketches most days. This weekend I may work on sketching buildings…I find that I’m sorely lacking when it comes to drawing them. All sketches drawn in a pocket molskine sketchbook (3.5x5.5) with a pentel brush pen. Shaded/colored with Copic and Prismacolor markers, Prismacolor colored pencils (only when the subject is colored), and a white gel pen for highlights.
Hey. Look who's sketching again! Trying to get in daily sketches...trying.
A journal comic
My new...ish journal comic has been live for a few weeks. Will be updating m/w/f for now.
