I bought a back brace recently and it's been both fantastic and vastly disappointing. It's labeled as one size fits all, but it's slightly too small for me which is bullshit because while I'm a big person, I'm. Not actually that fat. I'll never be a skinny person, but I'm not that much of an outlier. Hell, my dad is bigger than me and he's in better shape. Which means that this one size fits all back brace probably doesn't fit almost half the population

If you aren't gonna make it actually fit most people, at fuckin least label it with the waistlines it will fit. Don't make people guess wildly at whether the $50 brace is going to fit

All that out of the way, it's done wonders for my lower back pain, and I'm considering embroidering it just for the hell of it

Someday I'll give up on finding knee braces that actually fit my knees and don't just. Immediately slip down my leg. And on that day I'll just make my own

I've been collecting recipes for years because I like cooking and I love eating good food. And it's so incredibly disappointing that as I develop more allergies, I have to cross off more and more recipes.

There's a bunch that I've never gotten a chance to try, a backlog of things to experiment with, and those are the worst to have to leave behind.

I have a bunch that substitute almonds for peanuts, and I remember being delighted to find those, a fantastic workaround.

And now those, in turn, have to be thrown out.

I have a drink involving fresh peaches that I can never try out. I have a huge number of potential uses for cherries, one of my favorite fruits, and now I can't use those. I'm exhausted of moderating how much avocado I eat to avoid a reaction.

I am desperately hoping that allergy shots get my reactions under control. They once let me eat peanuts. But it's never been this bad, and I'm tired.
