Frustrating end to a strong season for all Knick fans, Very Disappointing. Getting to the second round of the playoffs was a major accomplishment considering the 2 first round exits in the last 3 years,  but im sick and tired of fellow Knick fans acting like making it to the 2nd round is a huge deal. I’ve been a Knick fan since I was 4 years old.  Since John Starks baseline dunk on Horace Grant & Jordan.  Since Patrick Ewing had the pencil eraser high top with the young shorts. Since the old Knicks vs pacers, Knicks vs. Heat rivalry. You get my drift. Even though we’ve had good teams back then we never was good enough to win a championship. (MJ had a lot to do with that) Year after year we would get bounced out of the playoffs. We’ve had good role players and good pieces but management never really surrounded Ewing with another star to give him a real shot at winning the title. Watching Carmelo Anthony put up 39 points in a game 6 loss without much help from anybody else upset me. Nothing against Melo he did his part. He does what he has to do on a nightly basis. Superstars can’t win championships on there own.  James Dolan and Knicks management need to realize this and go out and get real help for Carmelo Anthony. Not temporary help but real help.  It’s no excuse this is New York the Greatest City in the world. There’s no way in Hell that we can’t get big names to want to play in the brightest stage of em all MSG.  Despite having a bad playoffs JR is still valuable. Not as your second go to guy but as a complimentary piece. Management needs to take a chapter out of Pat Riley’s book and try and swindle a deal that brings us one or two other quality stars.  He can score all the points in the world but Melo will never reach the finals if management won’t do their part and go out and bring in some talent. I know it will be hard trying to move Amare’s 100 Mill contract but you have to try. He’s washed up he will no longer be the same player he once was. Tyson Chandler needs to be traded.  He can’t control his temper and Roy Hibbert out muscled and outplayed him. Every time Chandler goes up against Hibbert  & Jokim Noah he plays like he’s scared.  Doesn’t grab a rebound or box out or nothing. I already know critics and Knick haters are going to pin the blame on Melo for the lost. I blame Knicks Management for not surrounding him with enough talent to get the job done
