No Gods, No Masters Sticker
Today did not go at all as planned, but here is a quick Canuck the Knife Crow to start off the month. He's basically just an ominous sphere with talons and a knife.
MISSING: Canuck the Crow
Hey everyone!
You know this meme, right?
Ever since Canuck stole this knife, he has become a celebrity, both in Vancouver and on the internet! Over the years, he has found a mate (Cassiar), fathered three nests, and has a surviving baby who was rescued and rehabbed after a predator attack. He has even become a federally protected bird, recognized and registered by the Canadian government!
He is accustomed to human contact, but is very much a wild crow - he hunts for himself (and Cassiar/his chicks during nesting season), lives completely outdoors, and has gone on adventures away from his regular haunts, but always returns to his territory.
(Pictured here with Shawn, his best human friend!)
Unfortunately, there has been a drastic change, and after several days, Shawn announced that Canuck has gone MISSING.
Cassiar has been calling for him every day in their usual territory. Because they are such a closely bonded pair and are rarely apart, it’s unusual for her to NOT know where he is. There is also reason to believe that someone may have lured and captured Canuck, with the intent to either keep OR relocate him.
As of this post (morning of September 5, 2019), there are a few leads, but nothing super-solid yet. We’re spreading the word as far and wide as possible!
Keep an eye out, and if you see or know something, contact Shawn with info and/or pictures! You can check Canuck and I on Facebook for updates! Thank you!
