Ollo everyone! Welcome to my Tumblr! Here you'll find some of my artwork, from sketches to animations and everything in between, plus all sorts of things that I like to fangirl about.  Nothing but good times here! It never fails, I go make a determined vow to be more active online, and then I just.. BOOP. Vanish. XD;;;

I'm okay! Things have just been a roller coaster for the past few years, and I'm slowly stepping out of the mire. Just a quick recap on most relevant current events:

drawing has been at a complete standstill, but working with NeoMikey, there are plans in place to get me back into being creative

day job continues on as usual, still working from home

Bonnie is still best kitty! We have a long way to go with some of her anxieties yet, but she is really coming into her own and settling in over the past few months

in case it hasn't been said - I am up to my neck in Final Fantasy 14!! All caught up to patch 6.4, and regularly meeting with my family to play together. Just today, we met with our dad and got him a bit farther into Shadowbringers! Between keeping one alt's island going, another alt's house and crafting going, and dressing up SOOOO many casual alts based on favourite characters, it is definitely a time sink LOL

FNAF AU - STILL IN THE WORKS. When I get back to it, there will definitely be changes right from the get go. I would like to refresh things like the narrative and the art style, while keeping the characters we love true to themselves.

Speaking of FNAF, I'm terrified of jumpscares in movies but I will go to that movie day one if at all possible XD;;;

Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes

The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve. 

Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.

If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.

Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.

This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!

Let's talk about reblog notes.

We rolled out a significant change to how notes work on reblogs, and the reaction has been strong. We're not going to pretend otherwise. 

First things first: We're reversing the change. Your feedback in comments, emails, and especially reblogs, made clear that the rollout created problems we need to address before moving forward. We also should have communicated this differently from the start, and we didn't.

We still believe there's a better version of how reblogs can work. One that gives every voice in a chain the credit it deserves. But we want to get there with you.

In the coming days we'll share more on how we plan to do that,  including ways to work directly with some of you on this and future changes before they ship.

Hey staff. This one really needs to be reversed. Tumblr isn't built for a quote-retweet equivalent like this.

Ultimately, it just feels a lot worse to use, conversations are more segmented, you can't keep track of things by referring to the original post anymore, artists lose traction faster on their original posts this way, the community feels smaller as a result, and jokes don't land the same.

This wouldn't affect me, I could easily out-reply most users and take attention away from the original poster - this is a bad thing, and is another reason why it shouldn't exist.

If you value the community, you should have tested and sought feedback PRIOR to pushing it out as a public release. This makes tumblr less novel, less comfortable and more like twitter (in a bad way)

Some dipshit decided to pay the conference fee ($250) in quarters. He handed us a wrapped plastic bag full of loose change. "It's all there," he said with a shit-eating grin, "you can count it."

At about the time I got to $60, he offered to give us $300 collateral so he could get his badge and go to the conference.

"Ruining someone's day" is the favorite hobby of everyone here. Why would you hand us the perfect opportunity to wreck your shit and think that was an own? Half the con is calling him "Untraceable," the other half is calling him "Quarter Boy" and nobody cares what he says his handle is.

I spent an hour counting that and made him go fetch me baggies to hold it every fifty dollars.

This ended up being a good bonus prank for me too, because when the counting was done I wrapped the bags in gaffer's tape and spent the rest of the day handing it to people very casually while saying "oh here, hold this for a sec" and then watching they weren't ready for the weight (I only did this to people I know well enough to know this wouldn't hurt them).
