I always thought Yurio's anger about Viktor was more directed towards himself rather than Viktor and Yuuri as people. Viktor training Yuuri is a reminder that he was not able to outskate an opponent.He takes the sport and winning very seriously and feels he has a lot to prove and I don't think he knows how to react to the encouragement they give him because he sees them as competition to best to prove his skill to himself and they see him as a friend and fellow skater.
