There's only Hylas in Hercules' apartment currently. They'd spent last evening together, and he'd stayed the night. And then they'd gone running before breakfast and - well, he had what he needed here and didn't necessarily go anywhere, so why go anywhere?
Ostensibly, he's studying.
And to be fair, some studying has been happening, if perhaps not as much as one might suppose when there aren't any distractions currently within reach. Distracted as Hylas is, he thinks nothing of it when the door opens and then closes much too early in the day. The gilded hum of divinity in the air is all he really pays attention to, the thing that's been really new when it comes to Alcides' presence.
"Hey," Hylas greets without looking up from his phone at first. "I see you couldn't stay away for a whole day--- oh."
When he does look up, he's not at all prepared for the much-smaller-than-expected figure standing at the end of the couch, looking similarly surprised as he feels. Staring up at her, Hylas clears his throat. Aside from nymphs, Hercules is the only god he's met in person - in either this or his former life.
"If you, uh. Were looking for Alcides, he's not home yet."
That is surely the way to greet what he suspects might be his lover's divine wife. Absolutely.
