First time tackling vintage knife restoration. My godmother gave me some of her grandfathers knives and they are BEAUTIFUL. Still have a long way to go. They were pretty rough from a bad storage unit, but luckily they were loved for many years and for being a combined age of almost 200 years old they are in great shape! Thought I would give the before and after shots on my first go on cleaning them, and you can already see the difference. Sanded the blades and handles a bit and put a good oil coat on both to get rid of most of the rust and wood decay.
