A tale of two Nessmuk WIP .
Both started life as large circular saw blades , the older looking of the two has a tapered tang , the newer is thicker stock with a birds-beak pommel .

Some more old saw blade recycled into blades a mid sized belt knife , re-curved Companion and a kiridashi for a customer .
I’m almost at the end of my stock of the old Wartime saw blade steel but I do still have a few blades left in the last piece to cut out . It will be a shame when its all gone and hope I can source some more one day .

After etching and stone-washing the blade I removed the edge where the handle was to be wrapped .
The first wrap is dyed latigo lace leather with a thin epoxy coat with an over wrap of dyed 3 strand braided sinew , both via @theidentitystore
