THIS CHAPTER WILL BE SLIGHTLY SHORTER
Sam had grown a little closer to Kyle but she still had an odd feeling about him. She couldn't place her hand on it but she just decided to continue being friendly, but at a distance.
Eventually, she invited him to try and find Eteled. It had been about over a week since he had gone missing. Kyle felt a little uneasy but eventually agreed. He figured that since Sam hadn't randomly disappeared, the both of them should be pretty fine.
The both of them set out to the village again. They had noticed that it had started to get some people back. It was nice to Sam to see. But she was still uncomfortable that Eteled was nowhere to be seen.
She sighed softly. However she then noticed that Kyle was off somewhere else.
She followed where he was going and noticed that he was at a food stand.
She frowned a little but she wasn't surprised. She decided to just wait.
Kyle walked back to her and handed her whatever he had ordered for her.
She appreciated it, but she had no clue what it was.
"Thank you.?"
She didn't mean for it to come out as a question, she was just extremely confused.
Sam carefully ate a little bit of what Kyle had ordered. But then she realized that it wasn't half bad.
She then began to eat more until she finished.
"Why did you give me some?"
Kyle shrugged. "I figured that we couldn't look more if we didn't eat anything."
Sam actually pretty much just agreed with him. Of course, she didn't fully trust him but he did help her quite a few times so maybe trusting him a little bit more wouldn't hurt.
Kyle had noticed something. "Wait."
His expression turned into a frown. "Something feels wrong."
While the two were talking down at the village and while Kyle was explaining what he meant, Eteled and Cm were just relaxing for the day.
"You know, staying in here isn't that bad. Although being around you might make me go crazy."
Cm jokingly rolled his eyes.
"Oh come on, I'm not that annoying to deal with am I?"
Eteled stayed quiet and just gave him a look.
"Okay maybe I'm a little annoying. But come onnn at least you're not alone!"
Hermes had walked up to Eteled and gently brushed it's head against Eteled.
The knight stood up and began to pet his horse.
Cm grew jealous again, angrily grumbling something about how he shouldve left it outside of the cave.
Eteled eventually sat back down, the horse laying in front of the both of the two.
Eteled gently grabbed Cm's hand and placed it on Hermes' head.
Cm began to freak out a little but Eteled eventually calmed him down.
Cm gently began to pet the horse, getting slightly less jealous of it.
It was oddly nice. He hadn't touched most animals before unless he had to kill them for food.
He awkwardly looked at Hermes, smiling a little.
"This actually isn't that bad."
He looked over at Eteled, who was smiling as well.
Cm eventually began to get used to Hermes and stopped being jealous of it.
