Aaaaaah NWM looks so fun from those pictures! Is it as amazing as it looks?
It took me a bit to really get it -- I come from a top-down traditional parlor LARP culture, so at first I was a little adrift. But now that I get it, and feel truly free to write my own stories there -- yeah. The people are amazing and once you settle in with a crew, you can do some remarkable stuff.

But isn't it, though? I mean, professional goth boards on pinterest exist, so I figure some places are cool with it...
probably i could either get away with professional goth or professional 50s pinup but not goth 50s pinup

Was no one going to tell me that this was a thing...
ARE YOU EXCITED, E? BECAUSE I’M EXCITED.
YES I’M EXCITED!
@knightless replied to your post “Musical asks! 7, 25, 32”
Okay, I think I need more details about you being part of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, and Spamalot. :o Because WHAT WHEN WAS THIS A THING AND WHY AM I ONLY JUST NOW HEARING ABOUT IT?
Haha, oh, I don’t think I ever posted about it on tumblr?
It was back in 2015 and 2016, I think? They were both very local very amateur productions, so we didn’t sell tickets or anything like that. But it was a lot of fun, and as I’ve moved on to a bit bigger theatre productions (though not much, student related), I’m still impressed with how creative we were back then with so little to work with.
(I was Miss Shingle, Miss Evangeline Barley and part of the ensemble in Gentleman’s Guide, and I was Sir Bedevere, Concord and the Head Knight of the Knights Who Say “Ni!”, as well as a bunch of minor passerbys. The Ni Knight is probably the funniest role I’ve ever played.)
(I had a great hat)
Musical asks! 7, 25, 32
7. favourite musical you’ve been a part of (or one you want to be a part of if you haven’t participated in any!)
I’ve been a part of two, and while I love them both, I think A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder was just such a fun, new experience that I have to choose that one. (The other one was Spamalot, which is amazing and hilarious on its own. But I can only pick one!)
favourite costumes from a musical
Oooh. Gotta say the Lion King. Even if most of those are hardly even costumes as much as they’re costumes as advanced puppetry some of the time? I don’t know. But they’re amazing.
favourite musical where no one dies
Legally Blonde? Probably?
I had to think about that one for a moment to come up with one, and I’m blanking because I’m sure there are more.
Thanks for asking! :D
knightless replied to your photoset: The other funny thing about the Utena opening is...
My favorite part about the opening are these shots with Anthy and Utena in armor that literally never exists in the entire series. The first time I watched the anime, I was waiting for that visual to be a thing and it never was.
lol, yes, it’s a spoiler/preview of the entire series, except for a few lies sprinkled in just to throw you off.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! May your cake be delicious and your day turn into something as amazing as you are. :D
Thanks, Beth <333
