My dearest Sir Tinley,

I find myself in a position I am typically not in: trying so very hard to stay awake. I'd normally allow myself to simply sleep but I'm trying to rally myself enough to see my friend for a little bit. Normally I'm more of a night owl (bouts of insomnia are not unfamiliar to me), but I suppose the time I spent in the sun today has left me rather drowsy. Which brings me to my question for you: are you more of a morning person, or more of a night owl?

How curious, the one I think of was thinking of meeee~ but hello my dear Princess, I myself was not far off from sleep before my thoughts lingered back to you (@yapping-princess). It sounds like you’ve had a fun day at least!

My answer is strange so I needn’t you believe me if you don’t take my words at face value, but I am both. My parents lived two separate lives and my time was spent split between two households. At my mother’s abode I was a night owl and could sleep in until quite late. Whereas my father’s keep I slept at a strict time and awoke with the dawn light. These two sleep schedules never crossed until college when I was met with the rude awakening that I could not be a night owl and wake up super early- or even worse got to bed early and sleep in super late. The two fluctuate now, between needing a loooot of sleep and needing very little. To me it feels like it’s season dependent. In the winter I need more sleep, the summer less. But truth be told I’m… sleep ambidextrous? But I prefer my early mornings to be honest with you. Only because I get to see the golden rays of the sun wash down in such a beautiful face, run with the morning bird tweetings, and make myself a hot cup of coffee with my espresso machine (well not mine but that’s besides the point).

I do hope you find my answer satisfactory, and even more so, I hope you enjoy these little chats as much as I do, my crescent.

hes a big showoff in local arenas, but refuses to actually challenge anyone in a high ranking. (they actually got their ass beat by meta knight twice. RIP lol)

some sort of dispute suddenly is about! enter our favorite evil businesswoman!

susie has restarted the HWC, paving the way to a new era of tech dominance, but she would need some stations on various planets to better harvest natural materials and progress in her goals. she decides one of these stations is riight in (name pending) Knight’s hometown, and obviously they’re not too happy about that 💔 he takes to directly confronting her when she has a lack of guards. the two fight, he eventually flees, but doesnt give up. The two keep butting heads, knight getting captured at one point, Susie taking serious damage on another. God these guys hate each other!

Susie is TIRED. She’s fought with so many surprisingly powerful residents over the years, and she’s ready to just relocate. If it were her pre-robobot, she would have just plowed through the town, but the whole Star Dream incident definitely causes her to hesitate in doing such things anymore. Doesn’t mean she’s changed for the better overnight; she’s still trying to become a tech overlord, but she’s attempting to make her reign a little more people-friendly this time around.

The knight’s actually incredibly grateful for this, and sends her a gift of appreciation. Susie thinks this is stupid.

In ways that haven’t been delivered to me via prophetic vision, they eventually get to talking to each other. They’re both surprised, disgusted and intrigued by their opposing lifestyles. They humor each other with exploring each other’s interests (and trying to “fix” each other) and eventually get close enough to maybe possibly like one another. But I never claimed that I never said that at all

by the way, Susie doesn’t know he did that whole wish thing. He keeps it in the dark as long as possible. This ends in a very very messy break up 🧘‍♂️
