Ed hadn’t moved away or even thought about what would happen when Havoc leaned in. He had only stared, thinking Havoc had something to tell him and planned on whispering it. By the time he realized what had happened, Havoc already had a firm grip on his left shoulder and right cheek to tilt his head back.
His eyes closed when Havoc’s mouth firmly pressed against his. He could taste cigarettes and mint mixed together. It wasn’t as unpleasant as he thought it would be, and he liked the feel of Havoc’s warm hands on him.
Somewhere in the back of Ed’s mind, he told himself that maybe he should stop this before he risked things getting weird. Instead, he scooted in closer, put his hands on Havoc’s shoulders, and let him take the lead.
