The homunculus was rather taken aback. It had returned to the land of Amestris barely hours ago from its sudden trip to the northern territory of Drachma, and already it was being approached - or rather, coming into the path of - humans...or what it presumed to be human.

One could never be sure nowadays.

However uneasy it was by the quantity of beings it was encountering, its pride would not allow for it to avoid confrontation - not when it was in plain sight for the others to see. Swallowing its discomfort, the creature forced a smile to break across its lips as it bestowed its greeting.

"Good evening to you," it said, in a voice it knew was a little too jovial. Curse its nerves! Why did humans bother it so much, even now?
