Pet name, Charly!

‘’Coo, I think a good pet name for Charly is either Whistles or Cupcake. They are like a cupcake, a dessert with nice accessories on top and sweet being. Cupcake...Cupcake...I’m now hungry, coo.’’

Atmo shrugged. ‘’Shorty or Kermit Pea pot. I’m bad at nicknames.’’

The pirate captain comes with a long list of all kinds of nicknames. The list includes: Green tea, Foxy, Drinky, Bae, Blondie, Short cake, Sugar cube, Lime pie, Lettuce, Tooth fairy, lemonade...etc

With a nasty flash of teeth Charly snapped. "Don’t you /dare/ touch her!" [Are they at a bar? something more serious? who knows but Charly is protective of Grackle]

Avi’s eyes widened while her face drained of colour, the hand that gripped her wrist let go as the charlatan jumped between her and her unknown assailant, now clasping against her own mouth to muffle and hide her noises of distress from the shock of the situation. A cloaked figure had tried to snatch her in to an alleyway in broad daylight, Charly had only jumped in at the last moment before it could get messy. The glint of something sharp was quickly hidden by the figure as they retreated.

Their attempts thwarted, the attacker had already bolted off down in to the maze of shaded alleyways.

“Ch-charly don’t go after them!” Avi would plead quickly, grabbing the fabric of their shoulder firmly with a shaking hand, meanwhile trying to hide otherwise now big a bag of nerves the incident had made her, but only ended up hugging them from behind, shaking her head and catching her breath. She’d try easing them away from the mouth of the ginnel.  Everything had happened too quickly for her thoughts to make sense. She wanted them both away from there. That was a fact.

"Where did you come from?" [Charly @ any muse u wish]

In a golden flash of armour, the Knight had appeared almost out of nowhere, still hot from the sky as dust settled from their dynamic landing, obscuring the Charlatan with his wings from the less than savoury characters that had chased them down.

Glider Knights lance had been drawn and ready to ward off the assailants, catching the suns glare with almost mystical brilliance, ready to both blind and pierce those who dared make a sudden move.

“Get to the village.” Were the only stern words spoken by the knight, his head turning only briefly to peer at Charly. Whatever their quarrel, the young Knight would not tolerate it today.

“I reckon you got yerself an explanation to give me at the least as to why you see fit puttin’ yer mitts on my carefully groomed beard.” Isaac would speak up, brow raised as he had a Charly pressing at each side of his face. How the charlatan reached was the next impressive mystery.

“They’re a strange one I can’t get my head around. I see them hanging around with my sister the majority of the time I do spot them, Avi calls them ‘Charly’ if I remember correctly. As much as I hate to put forward prejudices, I kinda wanna keep my eye out. I don’t wanna see my sister hurt because of some smooth talking Charlatan, be that this strangers motive.”

Avianna:

 “Ah~ Charly is a dear to be around. I always enjoy our chats when we get the time to. They always seem to be up to some sort of venture and I’m glad they keep themselves busy. Though, as much as I talk to them, sometimes I never feel like I’m getting the full picture.”

Isaac:

“Weird lil’ Gremlin, but otherwise okay. Think I’ll see what becomes of them in the mean time.”

Glider: “A knight I think I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting, but I hear he’s a very skilled fighter, with some very scary abilities under his cloak. A pity I never go to the Litchyard as often as I should to introduce myself, though from what I hear, I think he’d prefer I keep it that way. I guess I can wait.” 

Avianna: “While I think it’s a noble thing for him to be a guardian of the dead, I…ah…. I don’t think I wish to make his acquaintance any time soon…”

Isaac: “A pretty big name, but I guess anyone would be if they’re the dang grim reaper incarnate. Nothin’ a few fancy tricks can’t ward off I reckin’.”

Glider:

“The enchantress eh? She’s certainly one to be wary over. I’ve heard some mighty scary rumours of what kinds of magic she can do, and while gossip alone is never to be trusted completely, I think I’ll steer clear of her for now. I don’t want to mess with that kind of power.”

Avianna:

“I do wonder about her... not just over political matters and predictions of the welfare of the valley. I can’t say for certain, but I wonder what her goals truly are? Her motives for what she does? Is she truly okay up in that tower, or is she lonely? I suppose she has many Knights ready to heed her beck and call, but one can never truly tell from a first glance.... While I don’t much agree with her methods, I do worry for her.”

Isaac:

“An unfortunate but convenient scapegoat. I just hope she hasn’t realised what I’ve been up to... else I’ll be far worse off from what that damn pirate did to me. Gotta keep my head down.... Yeah. Low profile for now Isaac....”
