219 rows and 29,565 stitches later, I have finally finished this knit blanket commission!

Super happy with how this turned out. It ended up being a little bigger than a standard throw blanket. To create this pattern I knit and purled for 14 rows and then switched on the 15th.

Happy New Year

And welcome to our cozy hearth! This year, my sister and I are finally getting started on our dream of working together to bring our handmade and custom-commissioned knitwear to the world. We’re very excited to knit and crochet for you; our previous commission projects include shawls, hats, scarves, gloves, arm warmers, and even amigurumi (small stuffed creatures). 

Em, my sister, learned to knit thanks to a kind but clueless college roommate who gifted needles and yarn as a Christmas present. Em likes working in lighter-weight yarns, and is deeply invested in learning cabling and lacework. I am Kit, and I learned knitting thanks to my sister! I work primarily in worsted weight and bulkier (all the way up to arm knitting), and I like doing colorwork and simpler lace.
