Current hat-in-progress! I'm about 3/4 the way done and honestly can't wait. The yarn is far sparklier in person by the by. (Pattern is "Boardwalk" by Elizabeth Pedersen. Pretty sure I pulled it off Ravelry like ages ago. Its been in my to-knit folder for almost a year!)
I tried to be a test knitter but didn't finish in time and set the sock down until I felt in a knitting mood again. Finally finished one! I'm looking forward to having the pair, they are lovely.
Pattern is Little Cafe by Teresa Runnett
Yarn is Smooshy with cashmere, by Dream in Color, colorway Galaxy. Amazing yarn!
One down, one to go!!
So I massively fucked up the cabling panel on these socks. (I was purling at each crossing point instead of knitting, making it all lumpy) I didnt realize until row 80 of the chart! Yikes.
I dropped down the stitches of the panel and reknit them back up. It looks sooooo much better now, I'm very happy.
Shout out to the knitting friends who helped me figure this out!
I'm DONE!!!!! 😄😄😄😄😄😄
I've started making a teddy bear for my coworker who's pregnant. He's so cute!! It's my first time making a stuffed animal and it's going great!
Pattern:
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: All bears are good bears
I have been working on these for a week, I got through the first chart, and I f'd up the entire thing.
When I started the chart, I didn't switch to the bigger needles, so the leg is tighter than the cuff. Additionally, like a rookie, I didn't check to see if it would fit before starting the complicated pattern chart (sobs)
I refuse to frog it, it's too much hard work. I put it all on some spare yarn, I'll figure out something to do with it later.
