Yesterday I caked up for skeins of Everyday Worsted in Narwhal, Diadem, Harvest, and New Moon to do some swatching at knit night. I didn’t plan on getting through all of them in one night, but wouldn’t you know I did because I’mucky to have amazing friends. I realize how fortunate I am to have so many amazing friends that I have found through knitting and also the best knitting group to meet up with every week. One of my knitting groups have decided to each attempt making toe-up socks. After two days I have the toe portion done on one sock and I’m so pleased with it. Look at those teeny tiny stitches! I made one pair of socks a few years ago and I loved them but I chose the wrong kind of yarn so they haven’t lasted like I’d hoped. These have the correct proportion of wool/nylon so they should withstand years of use. I’ve had to tweak the directions in the pattern slightly.
