Two problems required extreme re-knitting! My gauge at the bottom was much more relaxed than the top, which would cause uneven felting. I pulled out my needles (gasp, but notice that the stitches stayed put without running), 1. picked up stitches in the relaxed portion, ripped out the wrong stitching, then 2. realized that one needle had incorrect colorwork. 3. Ripped just that needle back 3 rounds (rows?), then 4. reknit each section of stitches on top of each other. ALL DONE! Well, the repair, anyway.
