this is dumb but it pissed me off
a dude walked into the restaurant and i said hey how can i help you
looked me dead in the eyes and walked up to kevin the sushi chef behind the bar and said hi i’m an italian wine rep and kevin internally is like wtf i’m a chef and i tap the guy on the arm and say excuse me how can i help you
guy looks inconvenienced and starts repeating the same spiel and says he’d like to talk to the owner. i say the owner isn’t in i can take a card
okay sure what’s his name? the guy asks and i tell him her name is lucy. dude is shocked. i am not surprised since he blew past me earlier.
i ask lucy hey you don’t need a new wine rep right? she says absolutely not and i chuck that asshole’s card in the trash
like i can see why you have to do door to door shit because you are terrible at speaking to people re: women but like. the disrespect.
