Play For Me
1:47AM
Woken up by the lack of limbs and warmth that are usually attached to you, you wandered downstairs in curiosity. Using nothing but the bright moonlight through the open windows to guide you through the dorm, the sound of heavy rain was a great comfort in place of the usual city noises. Hopping off the last step, something calmingly melodic took precedence over the rain. Following the sound into the makeshift studio, his silhouette was sleepily hunched over his keyboard hard at work. You approached slowly, still being dragged down by sleep but making your footsteps known. Running your fingers through his hair, his hands never faltered as he purred happily at your touch.
“Couldn’t sleep?” You whispered, straddling the seat and leaning on his shoulder. You got a nod in response.
“Did I wake you?” This thought made him stop playing, angling toward you.
“Not at all. The bed was cold without you though.” Jooheon leant forward resting his forehead on yours. “Are you okay?” you questioned in a hushed tone. He ran his hands up and down your bare thighs to comfort the worry in your voice.
“Yeah. I just had this tune in my head. I had to play it out, write it down." Your left hand made a home in his hair, connecting your soft lips with his and feeling his gentle smile as he kissed back. His fingerprints massaged at your skin.
“Well come on love, play for me.” Your hand stayed where it was at the base of his hair, scratching lightly as he turned back, dancing his fingers over the keys as you leant into his side. He began to hum along as if to show you were lyrics will soon be.
You lost track of time, getting so caught up in his passion that you hadn’t realised the heaviness in your eyes. Jooheon looked down feeling your breathing and presence getting heavier as you leant your whole weight onto him.
“You’re so cute.” He whispered as he collected you up holding you close to his chest and heading upstairs. Placing you down gently on his bed and taking the spot next to you, he chuckled lightly as you unconsciously chased his warmth.
“I am so in love with you.” He whispered into your hair with nothing but moonlight as witness and the now soft rain lulled him into a deep sleep.
