propaganda:

brontel is a tailor, and a warrior. he's very big on fashion, and can be a little ditzy. he loves his husband and looking cute and being pretty. he is schizophrenic, he is bisexual, and he is a bitch.

knoelle is the god of war who went and got himself chained to a tourist attraction city. he's transgender and mean about it. he likes to smoke weed and bitch about the good old days when people would just die of war instead of old age.

For you pantheon, which god is the most merciful? Who has the most interaction with beings other than gods? Who’s the most shut off? Do any of them have myths surrounding them that their followers made that are completely out of character for how they actually are?

"merciful" is a complicated term. most of the gods don't go out of their way to kill mortals, preferring to leave them be. but... if pressed, the only one who will probably hesitate to smite a mortal is bonego.

knoelle lives in a city of humans, meaning he is surrounded by them all the time.

bijon doesn't talk to humans very often if ever. occasionally, vey will appear in disguise to speak to a rancher and grant them good fortune.

for a long time, knoelle was wildly mischaracterized, but after people got to know him they realized he was kind of cringe fail. meat is still mischaracterized to this day, though

fred fred fred!!!! may i ask for more context on knoelle and the champion girl? maybe more on their meeting or what the champion had to leave to fight?

lamire, the girl, was sitting on the edge of a fountain and she saw a man wandering around and she decided to go talk to him. he immediately introduced himself as knoelle, the war god, but she was wholly unimpressed. she had her packed lunch with her, and decided to give him something to eat, since her mom always said there was no grumpiness some good food couldn't cure.

and no one really knows what the champions are fighting, only that it's big, and bad, and incredibly dangerous.

ok i spent a long ass time typing up knoelles backstory and then lost it so im going to give you the abridged version.

knoelle was a greatly feared war god once. one day, a tiny budding city state called azabain asked him to help him in war, and he did, planning to burn the city down afterwards. however, the priests managed to trick him, binding him to the city. they offered him an ultumatum. if the city died, so would he. but, if he helped the city grow and flourish, he would too. so, of course, he agreed to help.

for a while, people avoided him, and treated him like a dangerous entity, which he didn't mind, but one day, a little girl offered him a piece of her fruit. after that, every day, they would meet up and share a pear. after a while, she became a priestess, and then a paladin.

when it got time for the champions to be chosen, knoelle selected her, and then immediately regretted it, when he watched her walk away, with a one in seven chance of coming back.

his eyes are solid red, tangotek style. they glow in the dark

he's usually pretty late, but he insists its all on purpose and he knows what he's doing.

a lot of people think he's a dangerous killer. and they're not wrong. but he's also very cringefail single dad at the same time
