sometimes I think abt how I got a 2:1 on a research essay I wrote in 2 days and realise that it’s not even me being dumb it’s the fact that i study law and it’s so much harder to do well in this degree than other humanities degrees. I got a 2:1 easily in a human rights essay and I’m so proud of that but essays that have been solid law essays I’ve tried so hard in and gotten such shit grades it makes me realise I should’ve studied politics or IR instead lol I could’ve done so well :/ I’m probably just gna get a 2:2 now overall lol

i understand where they're coming from too!! i know that a lot of people are uninformed on the entire concept of being neurodivergent, and give themselves the diagnosis without realizing it's not just a few quirks. so i can understand seeing someone you don't know is neurodivergent claiming to be, and stating it as somewhat of a joke, and being worried that they're bandwagonning for the fun of it. it's like a better-safe-than-sorry kind of thing, so i understand the assumption, but rest assured i'm not self-diagnosing! it's real i promise
