How does one go about putting live plants in their tank?
To be honest with you, I don't know. I once considered trying it after seeing an Instagram users tank, and I talked to them about it a bit. But I don't recall anything helpful from it.
*an hour of reading later*
It seems that generally you'd want a substrate of mostly eco earth to actually plant plants in. I'm sure there are some that can go in the sand, but I'm not 100% sure. And for the crabs they obviously have to be non harmful and capable of surviving in the high temp and humidity
Another route is going with air plants. They grow on rocks or wood instead of in a substrate. Same rules apply: non toxic, weather right.
I know its not too helpful, sorry! But here are some links that might help!: x x x
Sorry that some of them are a lot of reading!!
