gemma can hear the desperation in his voice , it causes her to lower her cigarette , tapping it over the ash tray with her index finger. head tilts , considering what he's said. she's always had a special place in her heart for tig. she saw a different side of him than what the club got. he was clay's loyal soldier for a long time , but he had also shown a gentler , kinder side to him. often when they were alone. times were different now , and strange. gemma spent a lot of time at clay's side , but he had thrown it all back in her face. all that devotion meant nothing in the end. so now it was hard to ignore the fact that someone else might be her source of comfort.
head tilts , letting the silence hang over them for a brief moment. she holds tight to the phone , ignoring the twinge of guilt in her heart. he was clay's best friend -- or he had been. could she really admit she had feelings for him ?
