If there was one thing that could cause the otherwise miserable old man to smile, it was his children. Pride swelled within him at the sight of any of them but none so much as his youngest. Sharing the same name as his wife, Eli was a spitting image of Liz and not only in looks, but in personality. Eli still had the life in her that Liz had lost throughout their marriage, leaving him married to a seemingly LIFELESS HUSK. Arms outstretched and smile wide, he walked up to Eli, arms circling her in a tight embrace before a kiss was placed to her cheek, ❝My little Eli,❞ he began before he pulled away, hands on her shoulders, ❝How is your new place?❞ he asked before letting go of her completely and offering her a seat.
