Carbuncle knows Noctis has always loved kittens. He has a weak spot for the little fluffballs, unlike Carbuncle. Well, a dream about being surrounded by kittens would certainly be enjoyable for Noctis, yes, but Carbuncle had done that many times. No, this time Noctis WAS a kitten. Now he could experience the true perfection of fur above clothes.

Being a kitten was, in no other words to describe it, perfect. He was able to do what he wanted, when he wanted, napped all he liked in the perfect sunny spots. He could even eat all the fish he wanted!

The only downside was no thumbs, but he could live with that.

He could live freely, and it was the best dream he had had in ages.

He disliked cleaning his fur, though, the texture of it all wrong.
