A haunted cruise-ship ballroom re-imagining of KNTRL's 'Stabs'.

Charles Davis and Michael Henry, comprise the Brooklyn-based duo of KNTRLR have developed a reputation for being a mostly electronic production; however, there's a warmth and energy in their sound that comes from enhancing that sound with actual instrumentation. And although they've been compared to Death Grips and the Walkmen, i think on "Stabs," the band's latest single (and video) that their sound sounds a bit more like M83 -- but less dreamy. 

The official video was partially inspired by the stabbing that Davis and Henry witnessed outside their practice space, and includes some actual footage of a heart being stabbed (which is a little disturbing), interspersed with apocalyptic images, creating a very surreal video.
