Week 8 - Sojourn 7 // Risography We went to knuckles and notch's studio to have our riso prints printed! It was a small slightly old condo apartment but full of riso works of their own! I was really excited since we were told that riso printers are different from normal ones. We chose fluo orange and green for our prints and it suits our wet market theme for Singapore Blend. The printing process took quite some time but the end product made the waiting worth a while. Another new technique checked off my list! :))

Went over to their studio today and had our designs printed out! It was pretty cool seeing your own design come out of this kind of printer! However, it was a really humid day and all of us were really impatient and grumpy over at their place. hehe oops.
However, honestly speaking I don't get why is this so expensive thought. How is it any different from normal printing other than the fluorescent colours? Oh well, I'll never know will i.
We got featured on People of Print!
Our good friends Marilyn and Djohan from Knuckles&Notch (new local Risograph printing company in Singapore) hosted a small art party/exhibition last night and they got me to be a part of it alongside many great local artists I look up to! Always a pleasure meeting and catching up with Villains (ex-internship company) homies, and I was so distracted I missed out on Kristal's second print, Cleopatra. Anyway, do drop us a message if you want to get some of these awesome quality prints and we will put you in touch with the relevant people!
Hobey-ho!
