GALERIE | The "mediterranean" twins
Both Ko'pesh and Ko'ray are wyvern reptilis, which inspired a lot of miths thanks to their unique looks and behaviour...
And as you can see, they are not male and female, but two different, amazing species.
In short, the Ko'pesh are diurnal wyvers, while the Ko'ray are nocturnal wyvers.
Think of them as the Ko'pesh being like a hunting bird, with high speed wings, a fusion between an eagle, falcon and albatross; while the Ko'ray being chasing bird, which goes after little agile insects or mammals, like singing birds and owls, with elliptical rounded wings.
🌊 KO ' PESH
The Ko'pesh are slender cliff-dwelling wyverns, widely known to be among the fastest winged reptilis.
It habitates rigged coasts and travels around its multiple islands, which are very similar to the borders between Greece and Turkey, but in the open seas instead.
Their size is very similar to that as Caraxes. This helps them travel that long distances.
Giving that they spend most of their lives near the water, they primarely eat seafood like big fish or dolphins, being extremely "assertive" at hunting.
Its snout is perfectly shaped sharp like a bird of prey peak, a feature that comes in handy, specially when a big victim requires a harmful strike.
They go up high enough to strike them with so much force, prey dont know what happenned to them.
Their scales help them camuflate to hunt:
From above: prone to earthy colours, which helps them to camuflate in the coastlines, you will see more orange shades (even like terracota).
From below: a pale grey abunds, a colour that helps when they are looking out for prey in the sky.
Special traits:
Its scales shine slightly at sunlight, giving them an special orange-ish colour, similar to the golden hour.
Their multiple horns at the back of both head and jaw, are not just decorative ones; it goes all around aerodynamics. Facilitates air to flow, presenting less resistance, along with their slim triangle-shaped skull.
*In males tend to be bigger.
🐚 KO ' RAY
The Ko'ray live mostly in the vast northern woods alongside the coast, similar to Oregon, USA.
With their slender, lean but compact body and their eliptical rounded wings, execute quick and deadly turns, being talented at abrupt but elegant manuevers.
Ko'rays size's varies between sexes due to their sexual dimorphism, so males show a size similar to that as Drogon/Syrax, and females, like Moondancer.
