I just finished rereading Throne of Glass last night and I forgot just how head over heels Dorian was for Celaena and I’m still laughing at this particular gem:

Mini Rant: I cannot comprehend how Chaol can call Aelin ruthless and bloodthirsty, saying he cannot fathom what she did to Narrok (like she instigated the battle? just so she could mow down a field of innocent people? for fun? not like she was defending innocent lives who were going to be murdered or enslaved by the King???), saying he could never understand/accept that part of her (despite having served under a literal murderous monster for years but lets not split hairs, *whispers* we’re splitting hairs) and then practically in the same breath he says she represents hope, and uses her as a means of intimidating the King of Adarlan, and then he turns on a literal dime and treats her like garbage when she comes back to BE THE HOPE THAT HE SAID SHE WAS
