Why does the race of the oc has to specified? Do people more enjoy it that way?

I personally think that the race of the oc has to be specified because of warnings, many many many people may not like the fact that a black girl is paired with an Korean man.

To me I don't know honestly weather or not people would like if I specified the race.

I do however feel like it makes a little bit of you guys uncomfortable 😵‍💫. If it does please tell me!!
