New Commission: KOBATO! I was so excited to make this, I love Kobato's adorable dresses, and the pretty floral pattern was something I really wanted to paint! I love the soft colors of this costume, the tangerine and sea foam greens with a touch of red and creams all are so pleasing! I didn't make the umbrella, just added the flowers, trim and ruffles. The blouse buttons up the front with standing collar, then the cream dress is a low sheen bridal satin. The coat is twill lined in a poly orange with a slight metallic shimmer to it. I satin stitched on the little bird, the buttons were covered to match. Gloves and hat were also included!
