Happy birthday Kobaton!
A few Saitama mascots gathered in Seibu Prince Dome over the weekend (2016.08.27~28) as part of Saitama Festa 2016 (埼玉フェスタ2016). Celebrating all things Saitama would not be complete without at least some of the prefecture’s 116 official gotōchi chara.
Many mascots
Saitama Prefecture’s official mascots, Kobaton (コバトン) and Saitamatch (さいたまっち)
Tokoron (トコろん) from Tokorozawa (where Prince Dome is located) and one of the Seibu Lions mascots Raina (ライナ) - also note the manhole cover
Mimurin (ミムリン) of Misato town and Nacchan (なっちゃん) of Kamikawa town - Mimurin is currently 10th in the Yuru-Chara Grand Prix
Some sort of race was starting...
Chaos as usual...
Hanipon (はにぽん) won - no surprises there as he’s currently second in the Grand Prix so was probably getting a lot of attention at this event.

Chiba-kun and Kobaton
Mascots of the Chiba and Saitama prefectures. It’s for my Japanese project. We had to choose three prefectures and create a dream trip. I wanted draw Ibaraki’s mascot, but I couldn’t find which one it is.
じゃあ、どうですか?
