Dear Kobe

iRemember it like was yesterday, sitting in my room with the TV blasting the Lakers vs Kings game. After the game the next day, iAccidentally discovered SportsCenter and they were talking about you being a great competitor and mentioning how yourself, Shaq, and Phil were bringing Showtime LA back to life. iHad never understood sports before this, but this peaked my interest. It was something magical about that bright yellow jersey and seeing the excitement in everyone once you scored. I was 8 years old at the time. I decided that the Lakers would be my sporting team and would quickly become a loyal supporter. Through the years you've had ups and downs, but not once did I ever leave the Lakers. You hardly see players stay in an organization and successfully elevate their game, but you were golden. My father was a huge Spurs fan, while my friends all disliked you specifically and I've enjoyed defending the Lakers brand since the beginning! When you lost against Detroit and Boston in the finals iCried and was in the worst mood for long periods of time. When you not only scored 81 points against Toronto, but also outscored Dallas it truly gave me more satisfaction to follow your career. This past December 4th, iHad the pleasure of finally seeing you live for the first time here in Atlanta. And of course captured as many moments as iCould. iEven drink your sponsor energy drink. Pressure and aggressive decisions brought the best version of you and that alone highlights the reason iBecame a loyal supporter. As the scandal rose and the championship banners fell iRepresented you as your number one fan. You've had such a huge impact on my life. There hasn't been a competitor like you, Jordan always had the same team core around, in great respect Magic wasn't apart of the organization as long as you, and no one has been as hated and respected as a basketball player and overcome every situation! So there is not a comparison of who the greatest basketball player is. 20 years is a long time for anything, and to compete at the legend status you have earned is extremely rare. You separated yourself from the rest by far, and iCan't have the passion for great support of another athlete as I do for you. Kobe's Last

What an amazing all star weekend! A memorable one to say the least. Top to bottom, all the events were flat out spectacular. Kobe’s last all star appearance was the cherry on top of the weekend. It was great to see Kobe having a blast and interacting with the fans and players. This is definitely a weekend to remember. Only a couple more months left for the mamba, must see tv.
