Howard and Sons style armchair
This chair came to me after spending many years in a garage, it had had two previous rounds of upholstery and it was time for it to go back to the frame. There were no marks to say this is a Howard and Sons chair, but the frame was almost identical.
This chair was traditionally upholstered from the frame up using coir and animal hair.
The chair is covered using three different pile fabrics from Kobe Interiors. Including a subtle embossed velvet on the outside arms and back of the chair. The chair is now incredibly comfortable. It has a very firm back and the cushion is feather filled with a foam core giving a softness which returns to shape after you get up.
