Today was the first day of their online classes.😊 He was nervous, but excited. He’s now in Grade 5. Oh, how time flies. He does things his way now. Earlier today, they were asked to introduce themselves, including their parents’ name and occupation. I told him to just say my name and work. He usually follows what I tell him, so imagine the look on my face when he said “father: unknown.”😳 They were also asked for their hobbies. I told him to say watching videos about science, playing minecraft and lego, etc. I couldn’t help but laugh when he said “hobbies: none.”🤣 I asked him why he said none. He answered, I like to keep it subtle. I was like, what?😆 Oh, babe, you’re remarkable!😂 Study well and keep making mommy proud. When I found out I was pregnant with you, I didn’t tell anyone. I was about two months pregnant when I finally had the courage to tell he-who-must-not-be-named and was disheartened when he said “Inom ka ng gamot.” How nice of him eh? Haha. Of course, I didn’t. It never crossed my mind and it was never an option. I told myself, “I’m just gonna raise you alone. I have a job anyway.” I planned on keeping you a secret and just surprise everyone when I go home to the province with a kid in tow. Haha. That was my plan, but then, at about four months, guama found out I was pregnant. I remember she tried waking me up the night they were returning to the province, and I pretended to be fast asleep. After a few minutes, I tried waking her up, but I think she also pretended to be asleep. I guess we both weren’t ready to talk about it that time. Haha. I had my first checkup a week after that and the rest is history. I can’t believe all that drama happened a decade ago. Haha. I’m sorry if at one point I tried to keep you a secret, babe.
