“oi, kanji-san!!” the setter began amongst the roaring crowds observing the match. he was seemingly amazed at the middle blocker stood on the other side of the net, volleyball rolling around seamlessly on the brim of his grip. namazu was alomst ready to try and punish karasuno with one of his signature power serves. 

“if this serve totally crushes your defence, you’ve GOTTA tell me your workout routine -- you’re built like a brick wall!!” strange. opponents didn’t often interact with each other on the court, but namazu had grown rather infamous for the deed, playing mind games from the moment he set foot into his position. the setter’s stance loosened, calm like still water, as he prepared to take the serve, but not before he received his answer. 

he had to make sure karasuno was riled up: unfocused.
