I saw some thought-provoking work by people institutionalised in prisons, hospitals and detention centres. I  was so impressed by the power of the words and images! A particular favorite of mine was a large scale piece made from paint colour-cards which had a poem written on it.

I was particularly struck by the technical skill displayed by many of the artists, especially as they had probably not received any formal training in fine art.
